    'Helping Our Homeless Neighbors'

The Grove Community Church's 'Grove Village'

Onsite Housing for Riverside's Homeless

Riverside, April 4, 2023. Inspired by a challenge of then Riverside City Mayor Rusty Bailey for 400 Riverside churches to each help one local homeless person, The Grove Community Church built a model outreach program -- Grove Village.

The total out of pocket construction expense for Grove Village? $20K -- after donations, according to Andy Gibeault, The Grove's Community Impact Pastor.

Four, 600 sq. foot cottages were built and operational in less than 60 days.

Tenants pay no rent, are required to find work, are treated with dignity and will have put $10-$15K into savings by the time they graduate from the program.
