Comment: Wise choice -- Trump nominates Judge Amy C. Barrett for US Supreme Court

President Donald Trump on Saturday, September 26, nominated U.S. Circuit Judge Amy Coney Barrett for consideration to fill the US Supreme Court seat vacated by the unexpected death of justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Barrett, 48, an orthodox Catholic, a mother to seven children and who clerked for the late justice Antonin Scalia, is a constitutional originalist and an excellent choice made by president Trump -- a legacy to leave generations of Americans.

Platform Republicans and conservative religious groups believe the US Supreme Court should decide cases based on the original intent of the framers of the Constitution.

Life, liberty and happiness are sacred words embedded in our Constitution -- not to be relatively redefined to placate an immoral, anti-Christ, anti-America climate.

Don't believe the lie, Trump has established history of denouncing KKK, David Duke and white supremacists

Democrat nominee Joe Biden has pushed the false claim President Trump endorses white supremacists.

Democrat-run news media, either in reporter ignorance or from news spin Democrat partisianship, reinforce the false accusation the president -- and his supporters -- are racists.

ABC News Political Director Rick Klein, for example, in analyzing last night's first 2020 Presidential Debate, stated incorrectly,

"It's important to recognize this president ... has consistently refused to call out white supremacists directly when invited to do so. He is very loathe to disavow anyone who he perceives as a political supporter in anyway.' (1)
